Our contribution to the CCQM workshop
It's nice to be an integral part of a scientific network and to meet colleagues and to exchange and discuss new results on different issues. This was the case at this year's CCQM workshop - “Towards standardized pathogen measurements”.
Control samples and dPCR - our contribution
Annemarie Martin, dPCR project manager at our company, gave a presentation on:
“Reliable quantification of control samples for the virus genome detection to assess laboratory performance in EQA schemes”.
This was the occasion for an interesting discussion on standardization in virus diagnostics.
The Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) as host
The Helmholz Fond e.V., under the roof of the PTB, invited to an exchange among international scientists.

This meeting aims at diagnostics and therapy optimization for HIV,HBV,HCV, TB and on SARS-CoV-2.
We were privileged to co-design 1 session(QM and Applied Science: Next diagnostic challenges) and participated with 2 lectures:

(i) Virus Resistance Determination and
(ii) SARS-CoV-2 VOC analysis // SARS-CoV-2 sequence analysis"
and

We had a booth at this year's GfV and were also able to give a presentation. It was very inspiring to have discussions with so many colleagues.
